## What you must bring

**Valid photo ID.** Passport, national ID card, Norwegian driving licence or bank card with a
photo, depending on what the exam venue accepts. Check with the exam venue in advance if you're
unsure whether your document is valid.

This is not a formality. Without approved ID, you **will not** be allowed to take the exam, and
the fee has already been paid. It's the most common reason someone shows up and still can't
complete the exam.

## What you don't need

- Your own computer. The exam is taken on the venue's equipment.
- Writing materials, unless the venue says otherwise.
- Proof of training. The exam is independent of whether you've completed the 75 hours.

## What you can't bring in

Mobile phones, smartwatches, notes and reference materials. The exam is a controlled session,
and the venue will want these put away.

## Arrive in good time

Arrive early enough that registration isn't stressful. If you arrive after the exam has
started, you may be turned away, and then you'll have to pay the fee again.

## If something is unclear

Call the exam venue. They answer this every week, and five minutes on the phone is cheaper than
a wasted trip.

Norskprøven has four parts

Practise speaking for the Norwegian test with a real partner

You missed two confirmed sessions. Your partners waited in vain. The block lifts {date}, or now if you confirm you will come next time.

Quiet place, headphones if you can. The room opens from the lobby at 21:05.

You get invitations up to and including {date}.

That is the maximum, so partners and tasks go round, and you have time to practise between sessions. You get the question again from {date}.

You have not answered the last invitations. We only send if you want them.

Your reports are still here. The next exam period is {label}; that is {weeks} weeks away.

Say yes and you are on the list. At 20:00 you get the lobby link, and at 21:05 you get your partner.

Nobody at your level was free tonight. We try the next evening.

After a session we take a day off, so you have time to read the report. Big nights are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The next question comes {day} at 12:00.

Norskprøven

{n, plural, one {# session} other {# sessions}} done. After {date} it costs 149 kr/month. Nothing is charged unless you choose it.

The invitation comes {day} at 12:00, by email and SMS. Answer before 20:00.

With a standing yes you are on the list from 12:00. At 20:00 you get the lobby link by email.

Every day at 12:00 we ask whether you are in at 21:00. At 20:00 you get the link to the lobby, and at 21:05 we pair everyone who is ready.

2. We match you with a partner

30-40 minutes in your browser. The tasks appear on screen, in the same format as the test.

3. Practise together on video

We analyse your speech: speaking time, pace, vocabulary and grammar, with concrete tips. The report is usually ready the day after the session.

4. Get a language report

Choose your level and the evenings that suit you. All sessions are at 21:00. 99 kr for the first month, then 149 kr/month.
