Prøveappen Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Prøveappen ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Purpose

Prøveappen provides practice tests and study resources to help users prepare for official Norwegian exams such as the Social Studies Test (Samfunnskunnskapsprøven) and the Citizenship Test (Statsborgerprøven). We are not affiliated with UDI or any government authority.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration information.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, or policy violations.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account.

3. Subscriptions & Payment

  • Paid plans grant access to premium practice content and features.
  • Prices may change with prior notice; continued use implies acceptance.
  • You may cancel renewal at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Refunds are evaluated case-by-case where required by law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy large portions of question content for redistribution.
  • Use automated scraping or exploit the platform.
  • Share paid content publicly or resell access.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform content (questions, explanations, UI text, branding) is owned by Prøveappen unless otherwise stated. You receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal study use.

6. Disclaimers

We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that our practice material exactly matches official exams. Passing official exams depends on your individual preparation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prøveappen is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
