What's covered

Rights and duties as a newcomer. What you're entitled to in terms of training and follow-up, and what you need to do yourself.

Social conduct and participation. How people take part in social settings, in the neighbourhood, at parent meetings, in voluntary organisations. It sounds informal, but it's a competence goal in its own right, and there are questions on it.

Using Norwegian outside lessons. The curriculum has a specific goal about the value of using different settings to learn Norwegian. The point is that language isn't learned in the classroom alone.

Why it's worth taking seriously

Because this is the topic people take least seriously. It seems like common courtesy, not something to study. But the questions are concrete: who you contact, what you're entitled to, what the deadline is.
