What this means in practice

26 out of 34 is about 76%. You can get eight questions wrong and still pass.

This is useful to keep in mind on exam day. People panic over the first three questions they're unsure about and start spending too much time on them. Eight is a decent margin.

Why it's still not easy

Each question has three answer options, and the wrong options aren't silly. They're usually things that are almost right: right authority, wrong task. Right rule, wrong deadline.

This means pure guessing gives you about 11 correct out of 34, well below the threshold. You can't guess your way to a pass.

How to know where you stand

Not by feeling ready. Take a full practice exam, and see if you score above 26 several times in a row. One result above the threshold could be a lucky draw from the question bank. Five isn't.
