Example questions for the statsborgerprøven
The statsborgerprøven is built like the samfunnskunnskapsprøven: multiple-choice questions with three options and a maximum of 60 minutes. There are three differences: it has 36 questions instead of 38, you need 24 correct out of 32 that count, and it's only available in Norwegian.

The Norwegian language is the whole point
Many people discover that the hard part isn't the knowledge, but reading the question quickly enough in Norwegian. You know the topic, but you spend too long on the wording.
It's useful to know this in advance, because it points to what you should practise: not just what the answer is, but recognising how the question is phrased. You can choose between Bokmål and Nynorsk, and there's an audio version of both.
If you can take the other exam in Norwegian, do it
If you pass the samfunnskunnskapsprøven in Norwegian, it also covers the knowledge requirement for citizenship, so you can skip the statsborgerprøven entirely. It's the same effort used once instead of twice.
